In February 2004, a group of passionate people with various competences in the field of communication, realized a multi-year project to open a private space for exhibition of art, by creating "Agheiro contemporary art" the main purpose of which is to promote activities to support artistical flair, of young people in particular. Today Agheiro is a non-profit association with the aim to be not only an art gallery but mainly a meeting point to promote culture and the arts, in a wide and articulate way, developing its activity in collaboration with compulsory school, associations and both public and private institutions, local Bodies and Regions, in national and international fields, in particular with the countries of the European Community, to foster artistical exchange, to support and encourage the artistical flair of young people above all.
